How to do the Shoulder Roll

- Grab the Shoulder with both hands.
- Pull your partner’s shoulder towards you, with the aim to collapse their defence.
- Push uke over onto their back.
- Follow up into an Osaekomi.

Kami Shiho Gatame is a judo hold down that controls your opponents upper body.
To get into the hold, start kneeling by your partner’s head. Reach under both arms with your hands and grab onto the belt. Push downwards with your chest, bringing your knees up underneath you.
