Olympians, Miriam Blasco and Nik Fairbrother are trekking to Base Camp Everest. On the way they will stop at Everest Judo Club at an altitude of nearly 4000m to hold judo classes and give the children a special edition Everest Judo Club Koka Kids book.
Want to help them and make a difference?
You can support the development of judo in the remote Everest Region by purchasing a copy of The Everest Judo Book
A word from Nik Fairbrother…
Good news! The Book has been created for the children of Everest Judo Club.
A copy will be given to each child at the club. We will take the books with us, and present them to the kids as we visit the different dojos on our trek to Everest Base Camp.
It’s also our goal to use the book to raise funds for Everest Judo Club, and this is where you come in!
There are 100 extra copies and I’m hoping the judo community will buy them.
The goal is to raise £1000.00. All the money will go to Everest Judo Club to make sure the children have the right equipment and can carry on doing judo.
Please consider buying a copy
Each book costs just £10.00 – and you buy your copy (or copies) here
With grateful thanks
This has been made possible by the GB Olympians and the World Olympians Association (WOA) who have funded the printing of the books through their Service to Society grant scheme. Please note Miriam and I, will be covering all our personal expenses ourselves.
